'Pyxis MLE is a life saving tool for unexpected situations such us manifestations, shootings, robberies, where officers can “see the event” and know what is going on almost immediately, before actually arriving at the crime location. This system is also a great solution for covert operations where investigation locations are constantly changing. Pyxis MLE is recording 24/7; our officers can remotely pan, tilt and zoom the camera and record relevant evidence onto a thumb drive, while the system is still recording.
The best thing about Pyxis MLE is how easy it is to use. We deployed it immediately to secure the hotel where Law Enforcement agencies were staying during the 2004 Democratic Convention in Boston. We didn’t have to spend more than 30 minutes training the officers that would be using the equipment.
Brookline is the first town in America installing its state of the art 2.4 and 4.9 mesh network and will be deploying Videogenix Custom applications, to test wireless camera solutions. Once again, because of their experience and understanding of the technology and its issues, I know we will have a final product that we can count on. Once Brookline’s mesh network is up and running Pyxis MLE will be a key tool to record and view video wherever we need.'
