Company Profile - VideogeniX

vg-logo-2011b

VideogeniX was founded in 2002 and is today in a growth mode as word spreads about its flagship product, iPulse. The company currently has 20 patents/claims awarded, more than 80 patents/claims in review and an in house R&D that is continually developing new solutions.

VideogeniX originally began as an integration company specializing in video systems and one of the first to invent mobile rapid deployment wireless video systems using touch screen technology. These systems were being sold to law enforcement and the port authority among other notable clients, with many in harsh environments. Company president Glen Schaff realized that the systems were locking up and companies were spending lots of money to maintain connectivity. Based on his experience, including the Chandra Space Telescope for NASA, Glen invented iPulse. The new product proved invaluable for Smart Grid applications, cellular companies, M2M, law enforcement and municipalities as VideogeniX expanded its focus beyond security integration companies.

Ipulse Testimonials

' I want to let you know that our experience with the iPulse has so far proved to be a great success. This summer in the Houston area, when temperatures stayed in the 90's for weeks at end, our IP cameras were locking up constantly. We had experienced lockups before but never on this scale. The only solution to our problem was to completely cycle the power to the affected camera. We have over 200 Toshiba cameras outdoors in locations sprinkled throughout this major city so sending technicians out to reboot cameras all day was costing us alot of money. We began phasing in the iPulse and since that time we haven't had a single camera require a manual reboot. '

iPulse has saved us time and money!

' The results have been nothing short of amazing since installing the iPulse units, our problems disappeared and the cost and time to support our solutions was reduced dramatically. Prior to introducing the iPulse units, we were chasing after ghosts of one sort or another.

Now we can focus on sales more than troubleshooting issues.  We are very pleased with the results we have seen with the iPulse and would recommend it for security camera systems or for any sensor or device that is critical to the network. '

' Anyone who works with IP Network equipment knows they lock up from time to time. I would not install an IP camera, a modem or a router without an iPulse. Videogenix’s engineers understood the problem early on and created this little device, which is a must for law enforcement surveillance - especially when you have covert cameras installed. If the system locks up, you do not have to manually go to the location and re-start the units, which could compromise the location of the covert camera(s). Anyone who has had to re-start a modem, a router a camera, understands why an iPulse is simply indispensable. '
